Participate in the greatest sport in town, show off your skills, and earn some friendly bragging rights – all while having fun in a relaxed, social atmosphere! You must be able to attend all four dates. This league is for Advanced Beginner 3.0 (Based off of USA Pickleball definitions)Advanced Beginner 3.0Understands fundamentals and can keep score. Learning proper court positioning.Ability to hit a medium paced shot. Lacks directional intent and consistency.Not able to consistently sustain a dink rally. Not yet developed the ability to control the shot.Avoids using a backhand.

PEEPs - Creek Stomp PEEPs: Preschool Environmental Education Program Series Let curiosity lead the way! PEEPs is a playful, hands-on nature program for preschoolers and their caregivers. Each week, we encourage exploration through outdoor adventures, sensory play, and discovery-based learning. Together, we’ll follow the seasons, explore local wildlife, and support early development through movement, creativity, and connection with nature. Register monthly to join a themed 3-week series. Come ready to play, explore, and get a little messy!Younger siblings are welcome to attend, but activities will be geared towards ages 3 – 6. Junior Indiana Master Naturalist - Junior IMN This program is for our biggest nature enthusiasts! Junior Indiana Master Naturalist is an immersive program to connect kids ages 9 - 12 to natural resources through hands-on learning, field experiences, and volunteer work. This program will deep dive into many topics, like local plants, animals, and ecosystems. Participants will also give back to the natural world through service projects. Junior Indiana Master Naturalist is a program through Indiana DNR. Visit https://www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/programs/indiana-master-naturalist-program/ for more information.The program will meet at Zionsville Nature Center (inside Hussey-Mayfield Public Library) on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday is tentatively scheduled to be offsite at Overley-Worman Park and Friday at Carpenter Nature Preserve. -Participants will participate in at least 2 hours of class time (inside the classroom and outdoors) on eight different natural resource-related topics like zoology, botany, geology, and more.-Participants will complete the Jr IMN requirement of 6 hours of volunteer work during the week.-After completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate and Jr IMN pin.-80% attendance is required for course completion.-Previous participants can come back again to receive an Advanced Indiana Master Naturalist certification.

Wetland Wonders - Wetland Wonders Summer is a great time to explore aquatic ecosystems! Spend the morning getting your feet wet and muddy in the wetlands and creek of Zion Nature Sanctuary! We will look for fish, crayfish, amphibians, aquatic insects, and more. Wear boots or shoes that can get muddy. No bare feet or slip on shoes like flip flops or slides. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
