9:30 AM - 11:00 AM	PEEPs - Amazing Amphibians Welcome to our new preschool environmental education program series (PEEPs)! This monthly program offers an opportunity for preschool-aged kids to discover nature through hands-on, educational activities. PEEPs will encourage outdoor exploration that supports child development, grows independence and confidence, and helps children build a relationship with the natural world. Younger siblings are welcome to attend, but activities will be geared towards ages 4 – 6.  Parents/Adults are required to stay

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM	Spring Wildflower Hike - Spring Wildflower Hike Step into a world of color and beauty with the Zionsville Nature Center! Join a Naturalist for a fun hike to discover the vibrant spring wildflowers that are popping up in our parks. Learn about these different flowers and their importance as we explore nature!

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM	Slimy Salamander Hike - Slimy Salamander Hike Salamanders are an interesting amphibian! They may look like a lizard, but these slimy creatures are more related to frogs.  Learn all about our local salamanders as we hike and search a few secret spots to see if we can find a few!

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Toddler Trek - Mud Spending time outdoors has numerous benefits for a child’s physical and emotional well-being. During our Toddler Treks we will meet at different Zionsville parks to play, explore, and watch the seasons change. Older siblings are welcome to attend, but activities will be geared towards ages 3 and under. Dress for the weather and be prepared to get moving! Starting in March, Toddler Trek will be for ages 3 years and under. For children ages 4 - 6 check out our new PEEPs program.
