2:00 PM - 3:30 PM	Jr Ecologist Homeschool Club - Patterns in Nature Please Register for ONLY ONE date each month. Calling all young nature enthusiasts! Join a Naturalist from the Zionsville Nature Center for an engaging monthly homeschool series designed to spark curiosity and a love for the natural world. Each month dives into a new nature theme through fun, hands-on activities. At the end of each class, children will receive a themed take-home packet filled with ideas and activities to continue exploring at home. This is a drop-off program, but parents are welcome to stay nearby if they wish.Zionsville Parks and Recreation's Youth Nature Education Programs are made possible by the generous support of the Zionsville Parks Foundation.

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM	Volunteer Naturalist Training - Volunteer Naturalist Training Become a Volunteer Naturalist with Zionsville Parks & Recreation! This training will teach you how to lead educational field trips for local school groups. We will cover our field trip themes, natural history topics, trailside activities, as well as teaching techniques. Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required. Just bring your enthusiasm for working with kids!Note: Full background check required before volunteering with school programs.
